Tap and Die Set – 17 Piece – SAE

The Milwaukee® 17-piece SAE Tap and Die Set features precision machined threading accessories and threading handles for the most common applications. The taps and dies feature long-lasting laser etchings providing the clearest markings and a protective black oxide coating for corrosion resistance. The Square Shank Intermediate Tap is compatible with all typical tap handles or tap wrenches and is designed for threading through a hole. The 1 in. Hex Die shape is compatible with the Milwaukee® 2-in-1 Hex-LOK™ Handle (sold separately) as well as all standard 1 in. hex die stocks. The set includes pilot drill bits that are designed for use with a drill driver. The taps and dies are designed to cut threads in the most common metal applications including brass, aluminum, mild steel, and more. For best results, use with cutting fluid.
