Milwaukee Carbide Tipped Core Bits are ideal for drilling large diameter holes that are relatively shallow in depth. The core bit only cuts one Kerf. Usable depth for thin wall core bits range from 2-13/16 in. to 3-3/16 in. The thin wall construction is ideal for smaller hammers and newer concrete. The operator must remove the inner core before being able to drill any deeper. Several extensions and adapters are available to allow for deeper hole drilling. The appropriate drive shank must be used to drive the core bit. Use of a center pin and guide plate is recommended for positioning and starting a 1-1/4 in. or larger hole. Use of the center pin and guide plate is not recommended for positioning and starting a 1-1/8 in. or smaller hole. Milwaukee Carbide Tipped Core Bits are available for diameters from 1 in. to 6 in. Includes a centering pin and guide plate.
