Four-cutter spline drive bits have a series of 13 splines that slide into an equal but opposite set of splines in the spline drive hammer's drive system. This positive spline-to-spline engagement allows for maximum energy transmission from the hammer to the bit. Premium carbide tips are vacuum brazed onto a heat-treated steel body, which results in four cutting edges that pulverize concrete as the hammer rotates and strikes the work surface. Available diameters range from 5/8 in. to 1-1/2 in. 4 cutter type bits are also available in metric (from 16 mm to 38 mm). One per pack.
