The cordless drive shaft trimmer consists of two components: the M18 FUEL™ QUIK-LOK™ Power Head and the QUIK-LOK™ Trimmer Attachment. This allows you to quickly swap any of the 13 attachments on a single power head, offering ultimate versatility and a lower cost of ownership. The POWERSTATE™ Brushless Motor delivers the power needed to maintain speed during demanding cutting tasks without bogging down. The motor, located at the rear of the trimmer, offers the best combination of power, balance, and maneuverability. The motor also features an advanced air-cooling system, which keeps demanding applications going longer, increasing user productivity. REDLINK PLUS™ Intelligence ensures maximum performance and protection against overload, overheating, and over-discharge. Advanced electronics also provide instantaneous throttle response, 3 speeds, and a variable speed trigger. The trimmer delivers best-in-class performance when used with an M18™ REDLITHIUM™ FORGE XC8.0 battery pack (not included). The easy load trimmer head offers the ability to load up to 25 ft of trimmer line in under 30 seconds.
