The POWERSTATE™ Brushless Motor delivers up to 1200 ft-lbs of fastening torque and 1600 ft-lbs of nut-busting torque when paired with M18™ REDLITHIUM™ FORGE™ Batteries, while its compact size of 7.6" provides users with greater access in tight spaces. The M18 FUEL™ 1/2" High Torque Impact Wrench w/ Friction Ring maximizes productivity on the jobsite and in the shop by removing stubborn bolts and fasteners faster than competitor cordless products. The patented battery isolation system ensures a secure battery connection and controls vibrations transmitted to the battery. TRI-LED lights surround the anvil to deliver brighter light with less shadows. 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL™ offers greater precision with a range of pre-set RPM and IPM levels, selectable from a single button on the tool. By selecting Mode 4, AUTO SHUT-OFF™ Control applies no more than 50 ft-lbs of torque for hand-tight fastening applications to prevent over-tightening. Mode 4 also features Bolt Removal Control, which gives the user full torque output, then decreases RPMs once the fastener is loose to prevent fastener drops. The 1/2" Friction Ring design allows for quick and tool-free socket changes.
